Part of the Lo Mejor Del Oeste [The Best (Thing) of the West] series. This is the first and only real 'series' of figures Plastimarx produced. They did not produce a Fort Apache Fighters or Johnny West Adventures series.

The back of the Plastimarx horse boxes show the accessories and act as the equipment manual for the tack.
Pictured on the box is a US sorrel (red) Pancho from the Best of the West series. This would place the time frame of 1974 for this pony.

Plastimarx's version of Pancho came in a nice dark reddish brown color with very white mane and tail hair with white socks.

Accessories
Yupi's accessories are the same as the US ones. Just like the US versions, the tack was made in either black or a dark brown.
