Marx Trade Catalog: 1966 Marx - Page 04
The text on the right is a transcription of the actual catalog ad wording. The number (in parentheses) in front of the Ad title is just the order the ad appears on the page, a (0) means the ad was not numbered on the page.
Some of the ads have an author's note. Those are my personal comments about the ad and may change as I learn more.
The above three 11 1/2" figures are injection molded of solid poly plastic in characteristic colorings. Their faces and hand are of pliable vinyl - faces have realistic character decorations. All are fully articulated - their heads, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees move, bend and twist in pinned and/or ball-sockets. The three horses are injection molded of high impact styrene in assorted colors and have hand detailing.
This grouping is offered to the trade as single sales items, but all are so designed to be merchandised in various combinations of the retailers selection.
All accessories are molded with detail in poly or vinyl plastic. All items are packed each in a full color lithographed retail box along with their respective accessories.
Author's Comments: First edition Jane head. No rivets in any shoulders. Open hands on Johnny and Chief. (shield strap put in upside down...)
