German Johnny West Action Figures

The Germans produced figures are very rare because of their low production and limited distribution. I'm still learning about them so this section will be updated as I gather more information to share.

General Info

Produced by the Viebroflex plastics company. Likely produced in the Late 1960's or early 1970's the boxes are very similar to the UK 'Wagon Train' boxes. It's my belief that these figures and horse were actually molded in Germany using the first edition US molds.

These molds may have gone from the US to the UK, used there for a bit and then sent to Germany under a purchase or lease arrangement or they may have gone to Germany directly... .

The series of figures came in boxes similar to the UK Wagon Train boxes. The Thunderbolt came in a box very similar to the first US and UK boxes.
